Dr. Whitney Hejny grew up in St. Lawrence, Tx and graduated from Garden City High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Angelo State University and then went on to graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry, both with academic honors. Dr. Hejny is a board certified therapeutic optometrist and ocular glaucoma specialist and has training in pediatrics, contact lenses, co-managing refractive and cataract surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular pathology. She is passionate about providing her patients with the most thorough eye care and addressing all of their vision and eye concerns. Dr. Hejny is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. She enjoys spending time with her family especially her husband, JD, and daughter, Cooper.
